The 42-year-old star posed in a coat made of white fox pelts in the September issue of Vanity Fair.
But the group, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), has voiced their disappointment at Jennifer wearing the coat made from the Arctic animals.
'People who wear fur are either ignorant or arrogant about animal suffering. J-Lo is situated firmly in the arrogant camp,' PETA spokesman Dan Mathews told Britain's The Sun newspaper.
Jennifer has worn fur coats for years, which has continually outraged the animal rights campaigners.
The mother-of-two posed in the magazine as she spoke out for the first time about the end of her seven-year marriage to Latin singer Marc Anthony.
'Sometimes we don't realise that we are compromising ourselves,' the star said. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that person is not treating you in the right way.
'f I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now.'
Jennifer is said to be contemplating a $20 million offer to return as a judge on American Idol.
