Jimi Hendrix: Hear My Train a Comin presented by Metropolis

Experience Hendrix as never before! In support of the Blu-ray and DVD release of "Jimi Hendrix: Hear My Train A-Comin'", legendary rock producer Eddie Kramer visits Metropolis Studios to talk exclusively about his career and long-time association with Hendrix.

Kramer will present a unique insight into the mind and music of Hendrix, allowing guests to experience Hendrix as never before – hear his original masters in incredible detail as Kramer deconstructs Jimi's masterpieces track-by-track at one of the world's most renowned professional recording studios – Metropolis.

The pioneering engineer, who worked closely with Hendrix throughout his career (Electric Ladyland, Are You Experienced?, Band of Gypsies etc.) will show how he and original producer Chas Chandler helped make music history, pushing the studio technology of the day past its limits to match Hendrix's virtuosity.

Kramer's masterclass is accompanied by a wealth of never-before-seen archive material, lending an intimate richness to the story of Hendrix's life and career. Fans will also have the chance to quiz Kramer at a post-presentation Q&A, as well as meeting the man himself, and all attendees receive a multitude of extras, including a signed picture and exclusive souvenir goodies from the Experience Hendrix Estate.
