Joe Budden surely loves hip-hop and hip-hop loves him, maybe that's why the Slaughterhouse lyricist flourished in his role on VH1's reality hit "Love & Hip Hop." Not only has Jumpoff Joe shined on screen, he has been thriving in the studio as well with his No Love Lost LP and on Wednesday, Budden will hit "RapFix Live" to talk about how he balances it all.
The road hasn't been smooth lately. On screen, the New Jersey MC has been caught up in between feelings for his current girlfriend Kaylin Garcia and his ex Tahiry José, and though Joey has his hands full with the ladies he has never been one to back down from drama with the dudes. Last month, at the taping for the "Love & Hip Hop" reunion special, Budden and show co-star Consequence got into two scuffles, so expect Joe to comment on that in addition to his music.
Joey won't be the only hip-hop king on the set, DJ Premier will also join show host Sway Calloway to man the 1s and 2s as well as talk about his own music journey. Primo has produced countless rap classics for the Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Nas and of course his own group Gang Starr and will share some of his most interesting stories.
If that wasn't enough Rich Boy, A$AP Ferg, Troy Ave and Brooklyn MC Torae will all crash "RapFix Live," airing at 4 p.m. ET on MTV Jams and MTV.com.
