Winston the bulldog became violently sick on Tuesday and the anxious 21-year-old singer took to Twitter to ask his fans to say a prayer for his poorly pet.
'Hey y'all. Keep Winston in your prayers and thoughts,' he wrote. 'He ate something bad and has to get surgery today.'
It turned out that the dog - which was a gift from girlfriend Ashley Greene – swallowed some kind of harmful substance. But it all turned out well in the end.
On Wednesday, he updated fans with, 'Successful surgery on Winston!
'They didn't find anything, but say he should be feeling better by tomorrow... Man that was scary!'
