After he joins Britney Spears at her Femme Fatale tour stop in East Rutherford, N.J. on Friday night (Aug. 5), Joe Jonas will head out with the pop star on her European trek beginning Oct. 16 in Stockholm.
"It's a dream come true," Jonas, who will open for nine dates on the European tour, tells People. "She was the first girl I ever had a poster on my wall of, and her album was the first CD I ever bought," says Jonas. "It's so funny to think I had that on my wall and here I am about to perform with her."
The tour dates will come on the heels of the release of Jonas' debut solo album, "Fastlife," due out Oct. 11. The middle Jonas Brother issued his first single, "See No More," in June; the track was co-written by Chris Brown.
"I'll be playing more music than I have the past few times I've performed live so far," says Jonas about the upcoming tour with Spears. "It's going to be really fun to perform some of my music from the album."
