Joe Jonas Rejects Fan's Formal Invitation, But Gives A Sexy Counteroffer

When the average girl gets rejected for a date, she gets a pint of Ben & Jerrys and sad. But when Pepperdine student Shaina Kohli gets rejected, she gets front-row concert tickets and a sexy, saxy video from Joe Jonas.

Earlier this month, Kohli posted to YouTube a plea to the middle Jonas brother explaining why he should be her date to her sorority formal. ("It's like a dance," she explained to the uninitiated.)

And seeing as her peers' convincing coaxes didn't seem to persuade the pop star — "She's hot," one friend said — she appeared on the "Today" show on Thursday take her begging national. Holding a sign that didn't leave any room for confusion — "#Justgowithher Joe Jonas, go to the formal with me" — Kohli was standing among the crowd at Rockefeller Center when Matt Lauer and Savanah Guthrie showed her Jonas' sexy smooth version of "Sorry, but I can't make it."

"Shaina, hello you little thing, you. You little sassy thing you. It's your friend Joe," he says in the clip, lying seductively in front of a fire, wearing a Nascar-style jumpsuit and as "Careless Whisper" hums in the background. From a cabin ("Can't tell you the location") Jonas tells her while he won't be able to make it to the dance, he has another idea.

"I have a proposition for you," Jonas says, proceeding to formally invite her to be his escort to his July 10 opening show of The Jonas Brothers Live Show in Chicago, Illinois. And as if his the longing in his eyes and the sensual croons of the saxophone aren't persuasive enough, the "Pom Pom" singer has no problem using his body to do the talking. As he grunts through his "four thousandth" bicep curl, he pleads, "Shaina, you've been holding your weight in the relationship way too long. Now it's time for me to do my part."

The sensual clip left Kohli blushing, and when her suitor showed up just a few feet away in the crowd, she was red with happiness. Disguised as a long haired, bearded man named Ned, Jonas held a sign that read, "Looking for a date for a concert in July." It didn't take long for her to see under the face mask to see that it was indeed her dream man.

"Unfortunately I can't make it to the formal, but we'll take you," Jonas told her after removing his disguise.

"I guess that'll do," she said.
