Welshman John Cale's work as a founding member of The Velvet Underground will always ensure him a place in musical history as a member of one of the most influential bands of a generation. After leaving the band, John produced a number of albums including classic debuts from The Stooges and Patti Smith. He also embarked on his solo career with multiple releases spanning the 70's, 80's and 90's with changing styles and directions.
Often described as the ringmaster of the avant-garde, John Cale will be playing Fopp Tottenham Court road in the wake of his latest release.
