Groban will perform the 'All That Echoes Tour' based on his new album released this week through Warner Music and says the new songs are sounding great live.
"My new band have been rehearsing a lot and the new songs sound really, really awesome," Josh tells Noise11.com.
"We are so excited about how these songs translate live. I would imagine a great deal of them will make it to the setlist just because our enthusiasm about them seems to be great. The fan enthusiasm seems to be awesome and they really sound great live. As with any of my concerts its going to be a good mix of new and old but if we can add some freshness and stuff that the fans have never heard before then that's always a great thing".
Most of the Josh Groban band have been with him for years. "Many of the people I have toured with for many, many years are still with me," he says. "We will have four strings, four horns, a chamber orchestra, drums, bass, guitar, piano, percussion. It's a pretty large group of musicians and we just love playing with each other. Whenever we hit the stage in whatever part of the world we are in there is a synergy there. There is an energy we like to take from the audience. I love the studio but truly I do this to get in front of an audience".
Josh Groban will tour Australia for Live Nation. Tickets go on sale on February 11.
