Josh Kelley: `Katherine Heigl was born to be a mum`

The couple became parents for the first time when they adopted daughter Naleigh last year and he admitted Heigl is great with her.

He said to OK! magazine: 'She's an awesome mum. She was born to be a mum. She's really good, very structured. Naleigh is on a very strict, what do you call that? Her schedule.'

Talking about their schedule, he added: 'She's really smart about it. She's right. She's a better happier baby when she stays to her schedule.'

The singer added at the premiere of Heigl's new movie Life As We Know It that they love raising their daughter together.

He said: 'I think it's made us closer. I think it's just one of those things that was the missing element in our life and in our marriage too. It got us closer and made that house a home and we love it, man, I love her.'
