Overview
Josh Ritter makes his eagerly anticipated return to these shores having wowed audiences across the UK on an 11-date tour last September. This one off must see solo show will be showcasing tracks from his highly anticipated new studio album "So Runs The World Away" out August 23rd.
Recorded in 15 months at Maine's Great North Sound Society and Saltlands Studio in Brooklyn and produced by Sam Kassirer, the album sees Ritter accompanied by his usual touring band of Zack Hinkman (bass), Austin Nevins (guitar) and Liam Hurley (drums).
The album follows Ritter being named amongst the 100 Greatest Living Songwriters by Paste magazine alongside Dylan, Springsteen and Neil Young. The magazine declared "Put simply, Ritter is the most gifted interpreter of Americana, as an arranger and a lyricist, working today."
