Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel became husband and wife earlier this month but had remained coy about their wedding plans since getting engaged late last year.
They tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Italy surrounded by family and friends which was organised with military precision.
And although The A-Team star had said leading up to the wedding that she had been too busy to get anything done, the couple now tells People magazine that they started planning as soon as Justin put a ring on it.
"Justin told me that since the day he proposed on top of a mountain in Big Sky Montana, the two of them have been planning this incredible wedding," the magazine's senior writer Jennifer Garcia revealed.
"The most important thing to them, they wanted it to be personal."
There were lots of personal touches on the big day including Jessica using pearls from her grandmother's wedding day tiara to incorporate in her own veil.
The Sexy Back singer issued a public apology this week for the "distasteful" wedding video mocking homeless people that surfaced on the internet soon after his nuptials.
