Justin Timberlake is back in the music world -- but only behind the camera. JT directed a music video for "Hoodies On, Hats Low," from Memphis hip-hop group FreeSol.
Timberlake also appears in the Memphis-centric video, which debuted online Wednesday, showing off his dance moves but alas, none of his sweet vocals.
The clip features some of Memphis' recognizable landmarks, including the Hernando de Soto bridge (aka the "M" bridge) over the Mississippi River and the downtown skyline.
Timberlake, who also hails from Memphis, tweeted a link to the video with the message: "New music ... if you like it pass it along."
Timberlake goes way back with FreeSol, signing the group to his label, Tennman Records, in 2006 after seeing them perform.
FreeSol's debut album, "No Rules," is scheduled for release later this year via Tennman/Interscope. Timberlake also served as a producer on the album, in addition to Jim Jonsin (Beyonce, Pitbull) and Mike Elizondo (Dr. Dre, Eminem).
