The actor and musician stars in the highly anticipated upcoming movie The Social Network as Napster founder Sean Parker.
He appeared on the Daily Show to promote the film.
In the movie he offers advice to the teenage Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg - played by Jesse Eisenberg - in a restaurant.
But in real-life Timberlake says he doesn't imagine Zuckerberg is too happy.
'I don't know but I can't assume they are ecstatic that the film is coming out,' Timberlake said.
'Im 29... I don't want a movie made about me at 29.'
With a touch or irony, he added: 'The mistakes I made by me at 19 are pretty much documented by the popular, er, world.
'But I can tell that's a really sh*t movie and I wouldn't [want it]!'
