Justin Timberlake Plays Bon Iver In 'Saturday Night Live' Skit

Justin Timberlake put on his best Bon Iver impression during Saturday Night Live's skit.

The skit showed a handful of celebrities dropping by to visit Jay-Z and Beyonce's new baby, Blue Ivy Carter.

"I was just wandering barefoot in the woods of Wisconsin, and fashioned this guitar out of a canoe," Timberlake (Bon Iver) said.

Impressed with Timberlake's impression, Justin Vernon wrote over Twitter:

''Holy s*it, i was just watching SNL and JT did a Bon Iver hilarious thing! Also, Maya Rudolph saying "bon iver" is enough. I can die now!!!"

Meanwhile, Bon Iver caused upset at last weekend's Grammy Awards as he beat Nicki Minaj to be named Best New Artist.

The singer, who refused to perform at the ceremony, won two awards Best New Artist and Best Alternative Album.

Bon Iver had been invited to perform but refused, with Justin Vernon telling Billboard: "We wanted to play our music, but we were told that we couldn't play. We had to do a collaboration with someone else..."

"Rock n' roll should not be decided by people that have that job. Rock n' roll should be the f*cking people with guitars around their backs. And their friends. And their managers".

Shortly after the awardsTwitter was quickly filled with disgruntled Skrillex and Nicki Minaj fans who had no idea who Bon Iver was.
