We've already seen photos from the set of Justin Timberlake's "Suit & Tie" video — everyone looks like they're having such a good time — and now, we know who will be directing the clip, too: None other than David Fincher.
Yes, according to the Playlist, Timberlake will re-team with Fincher (who directed him in "The Social Network") on the "Tie" video, making what was already a very big music video even bigger ... if that's even possible.
Over the past two decades, Fincher has established himself as a Hollywood force, the man responsible for acclaimed films like "Seven," "Fight Club," "Zodiac" and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," though he began his career by directing commercials and several iconic music videos, including Madonna's "Express Yourself" and "Vogue," George Michael's "Freedom '90" and a handful of hits for Paula Abdul ("Straight Up," "Cold Hearted.")
"Suit & Tie" will mark his first music video since Nine Inch Nails' "Only" in 2005.
Of course, aside from the aforementioned on-set pics, there's no word on just what the "Tie" video will look like, and a rep for Timberlake did not respond to MTV News' request for comment on the project by press time. And while we all wait for more details, may we suggest checking out the "Suit & Tie" lyric video, which premiered on MTV last week.
JT's The 20/20 Experience album is due in stores on March 19, and he's just been announced as a performer at the 55th Grammy Awards, which air live from Los Angeles on Sunday, February 10.
