Maybe he got tired of the constant questions about if he was ever going to bring sexy back again, or maybe it was just time, but Justin Timberlake could be poised to make a long-awaited return to music.
The singer-turned-actor-turned-Internet entrepreneur amped up speculation that he's finally ready to drop his first album in nearly seven years on Wednesday night with a cryptic tweet hinting at some big news Thursday morning (January 10).

"Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at 9:01 am PST," read the 9 p.m. tweet that turned Timberlake into the top trending topic on Twitter within an hour on Wednesday night. While a spokesperson for Timberlake could not be reached for comment at press time, unnamed sources told the Hollywood Reporter that the mysterious message "signifies the announcement and possibly instant arrival of new music." Speculation is focused on the release of a new single on Thursday, but the Reporter suggested that Timberlake, 31, could have a full album in the bag featuring production from longtime collaborator Timbaland, with 20 new tracks to choose from.
Though he's turned his focus to movies ("The Social Network," "Bad Teacher," "Trouble with the Curve"), TV, fashion, restaurants, home décor and helping to relaunch MySpace in recent years, Timberlake has faced constant questions about when he would drop the follow-up to his smash 2006 solo album, FutureSex/LoveSounds. An unnamed insider told the Reporter that amidst his other ventures Timberlake has been "quietly and methodically preparing to release an album with almost no warning."
Who knows? Maybe the as-yet-unreleased song JT performed for his blushing bride, Jessica Biel, at the couple's October wedding could make it on to the new album.
