Kaiser Chiefs frontman speaks

Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson has spoken out after he was injured in a car accident.

The incident occurred when the singer was walking home through Leeds after watching Hard-Fi at the city's Millennium Square.

Ricky was hit while using a pedestrian crossing, but managed to escape serious injury by performing his trademark jump.

The singer was then knocked over the top of the car, rather than being dragged underneath.

He told NME.COM: "It will teach me to leave Hard-Fi early. I wanted to get home to watch Phone Booth which was on at 10pm. I was crossing the road, it was a green man. I walked past one car that had stopped and when I got half way across a car came out of nowhere.

"You know how they say you see it coming in really slow motion, well it did. I jumped in the air and it clipped my shins and flipped me over and I hit windscreen."document.write(unescape("
