Kaiser Chiefs join NME Awards Show

Not content with boasting an already brilliant bill, NME are proud to announce that Kaiser Chiefs have been added to the ShockWaves NME Awards Shows 2007 line up and will play Shepherds Bush Empire on 2nd March.

Starting on 12th February, the ShockWaves NME Awards Shows will take over London for a month-long extravaganza of rock ‘n’ roll gigs. Some of the finest British talent around including Kasabian, Jarvis, Lost Prophets, Babyshambles, Amy Winehouse and Maximo Park are headlining shows plus fine international offerings from Kings of Leon and The Gossip amongst others.

It's not just about the big bands - the ShockWaves NME Awards Shows have a hard-earned reputation for showcasing the very best in both new and established music talent and this year’s line-up is the strongest yet. With a swarm of today’s hottest new acts including Jamie T, Little Man Tate, The Maccabees, Air Traffic and The Enemy rolling into London, it's set to be a month of musical anarchy!

NME Associate Editor Dan Silver said: 'This year's set of shows is
arguably the most exciting ever, and there are some truly amazing bills where the best of the big meet the best of the new. Tickets are selling fast though, so be warned that you'll need to move quickly if you don't want to miss out.'
