Karen O has announced details of two London headline shows at Bush Hall this October. Full dates and ticket details are below.
The iconic Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer will be releasing the album via Strokes' frontman Julian Casablancas' very own Cult Records on 9 September - the same day as albums by Death From Above 1979 and Interpol also drop, so it's going to be quite a week.
"So excited, lucky and proud to be involved with such a classic album," said Casablancas. "I just wanna listen to it all day. Karen is an all-time great."
Karen O added: "When I was 27 I crushed a lot. I wasn’t sure I’d ever fall in love again. These songs were written and recorded in private around this time. They are the soundtrack to what was an ever continuing love crusade. I hope they keep you company on yours."
A statement reads: "Recorded in 2006 and 2007, the record is an intimate collection of lo-fi, bedroom recordings in the vein of Karen’s Oscar-nominated 'The Moon Song'."
Karen O's confirmed London dates are below. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 15 August. For tickets and more information, visit here.
