Kat Graham can't get enough of the '90s.
The 26-year-old actress has recently moved into the music industry, with her debut album Roxbury Drive released in America on Friday (25Sep15).
She stopped by Good Day LA on Friday morning to perform her latest single Secrets and chat about her musical inspiration.
Following the incredibly energetic performance, Kat told the hosts: "I love the '90s dances. The whole album Roxbury Drive is a kind of throwback to that – current music but you know…
"We have a lot of fun, I've been with my dancers for years now."
Kat is most well known for her role as Bonnie Bennett on the US TV show The Vampire Diaries.
But with her new record, Kat is hoping make a name for herself as a singing superstar as well.
"I worked with me on this album, with my engineer and my partner Jeeve, and also Babyface, who is featured on the single Secrets," she said.
Kat stars alongside Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley in The Vampire Diaries.
The cast as preparing for the premiere of their new season – the first without former star Nina Dobrev.
And Kat finds it hard to believe that the programme is still going, and gaining new fans every week.
"We are about to air Season 7 on 8 October (15) which is crazy – seven years!" she laughed.
Fans of the show were hopeful that Kat's character Bonnie would enjoy a romance with Ian's alter-ego Damon Salvatore in the last series.
However, the sixth season failed to see such a relationship materalise, and Kat is unsure whether she and Ian will have any love scenes.
"I don't even know," Kat told toSheKnows recently. "I mean, Ian and I have campaigned to work together in so many interviews, and we've just been shut down. So we'll see what the writers come up with. But as of right now, nothing's happened."
