'Indie Queen' and British style icon, Kate Nash played at the world's most celebrity-stacked music festival, Coachella on day one.
With shorter locks dyed bright pink to match her all-pink stage decor, Kate wore a bespoke dress by American designer Rose La Grua and her label That's Totally Fine. Kate described her set as, "kind of a pink extravaganza. All the girls in my band wore pink, and everyone who was with us was in pink."
Playing to a jam-packed audience in the Gobi Tent, Kate took revelers on a journey through hits from her three albums: Made of Bricks, My Best Friend is You and Girl Talk.
Following her set, Kate was invited to DJ at Soho House's Coachella Desert House, following fellow Brit Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's Coachella party.
Kate will be playing Coachella again on the 18th of April after gigs including one at The Roxy in West Hollywood.
Kate is currently based in LA working on several projects including a Broadway play and is also looking at new film projects. The multi-talented artist starred in three films in 2013. Her most recent film, Powder Room in which she stars with Sheridan Smith, Jaime Winstone and Oona Chaplin is now availabe on DVD.
