Katie Melua has slammed Amy Winehouse, Pete Doherty and Kate Moss for
"glamorising" drugs.
The 23-year-old British singer gets "angry" when she sees the latest instalments of the trio's exploits because her doctor father taught her how dangerous drug addiction can be.
She said: "My dad always told me horror stories about drugs and overdosing, so it makes me angry that people like Amy Winehouse, Pete Doherty and Kate Moss are glamorised for their behaviour."
Katie - whose music Amy described as "s**t" - also warned her chart rival not to be two-faced.
She said: "We'd never met when she made that comment, but we did afterwards and she was really nice to me.
"All I would say is, 'If you're going to be mean, do it to my face.' "
Pete, Amy and Kate have all caused controversy with their drug use.
Self-confessed addict Pete was recently caught on camera snorting cocaine, shortly after vowing to return to rehab after a heroin relapse.
The Babyshambles frontman's ex-girlfriend Kate hit the headlines in 2005 when footage of her taking what appeared to be cocaine was released.
Only last week, Amy's tour manager Thom Stone resigned because her frequent substance use with husband Blake Fielder-Civil had damaged his health.
Stone walked away from the 'Rehab' singer after his doctor allegedly found traces of heroin in his system which he had passively inhaled on Amy's tour bus.
