Katie, aka Jordan, took to social networking site Twitter today to announce the news before her ex-husband's PR agency does.
The 32-year-old, who split from Andre back in 2009, wrote: 'I'm told CAN are going to release a statement saying pete been rushed to hospital with stomach pains!why does press need to know!'
The glamour model added: 'Hope Pete ok.'
Price recently confirmed that she will no longer be letting her children Princess and Junior appear on her TV show or in magazine shoots.
She said: 'I want to withdraw them from the public eye as I want them to have as normal a childhood as possible.'
