Katie Price dates opposite of Andre

Katie Price is reportedly dating a cage fighter who could "have" her estranged husband Peter "for breakfast".

The glamour model spent part of the weekend with muscle bound hunk Alex Reid - known as 'The Detonator'- and even let him borrow some of Peter's clothes after he stayed over at her house.

A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "She thinks Alex is the opposite to her ex, he's a fearsome opponent, a real animal, and would have Peter for breakfast.

"Alex went back to her house after a night of partying, and didn't bring a change of clothes. He ended up wearing some of Peter's which he had left behind.

"Kate was at pains to keep him away from the paparazzi. Believe it or not, she has been the one who has done most of the running."

Alex, 34, worked as a stuntman on the film 'Saving Private Ryan' and had a part in British soap opera 'Hollyoaks' before turning his hand to mixed martial arts. He has a fight record of 10 losses, nine wins, one draw and one no contest.

A spokesperson for Katie, 31 - also known as Jordan - has denied claims she spent two nights, Saturday (18.07.09) and Sunday (19.07.09), with Alex.

The spokesperson said: "Katie was barely at home over the weekend. Her personal trainer is a cage fighter, but I have never heard of a guy called Alex."

Meanwhile, Peter, 36, has hinted there is a song on his upcoming album about Katie.

The singer said: "There is a song on my new album that's about a glamour model, naming no names, but if you strip away all the fake hair, nail extensions, all the artificial gloss and glamour, there's something distinctly average."
