Katie Price ordered all footage of her son Harvey be removed from Peter Andre's latest TV show.
The glamour model angered producers of 'Peter Andre: Going It Alone' by insisting she didn't want any scenes including disabled Harvey - who is partially sighted and suffers from hormone imbalances, and is her child from a previous relationship - being broadcast.
A spokesperson for Katie, 31, denied her actions were borne out of "bitterness", saying: "Because of his disabilities Harvey is prone to mood swings and Katie wants to be in control of what is shown.
"If he's with her she's in control of what happens."
While Harvey won't be appearing in Peter's programme, footage of a party held for his seventh birthday appears in a trailer for Katie's own solo reality TV show 'What Katie Did Next'.
A source close the former couple said: "The kids are becoming the real battleground in the divorce. With both Katie and Peter having separate TV reality shows, the screen is becoming the place in which the custody battle is waged."
Peter, 36, and Katie also have two children together, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii. Harvey has previously appeared on screens in the couple's previous reality shows - 'Katie and Peter' and 'Katie and Peter: Stateside'.
Peter has raised stepson Harvey as his own child and is devastated that Katie has forced him to be removed from his show - which airs tonight British TV channel ITV 2.
A source close to the singer said: "He wanted Harvey to appear in the show. They spend a lot of time together so it doesn't seem right that he isn't featured with the other children."
