The 32-year-old brunette beauty – who stripped off for the magazine when she was 24 – thinks it would be great to grace the publication's pages when she reaches the milestone age.
The sexy star – who has visited Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion - said: "I might do Playboy as a 40 or 50 year old."
Although Katie is famous for her surgically enhanced curves and love life, she insists she has a secret passion – the human mind.
She added in an interview on UK television series the 'Michael Ball Show' to air next week: "I am fascinated by the human brain. A lot of people don't know this but if I could have my dream job it would be going into prisons getting inside people's minds to know what triggers them off.
"If I could be a forensic detective I would."
Meanwhile, Katie is to sell the home where she lived with ex-husband Peter Andre for £3 million.
The eight-bedroom mansion – which she believes to be haunted – was purchased by the former couple in 2008, a year before they split.
A family friend said: "She's had enough of the place. She really does want to move on."
