Kelly Osbourne hospitalised with foot injury

Kelly Osbourne is set to spend Christmas (15) on crutches after she was hospitalised with a painful foot injury.

Ozzy Osbourne's reality TV star daughter took to Instagram on Sunday (20Dec15) to share a picture of her heavily swollen and bruised foot, and she later added a snap of herself sitting in a wheelchair alongside two nurses.

"I have a fracture, chipped bone and torn tendon!!!!" she wrote in a caption. "Thank you to the amazing doctors and nurses for taking such good care of me."

After leaving hospital, the drama continued for Kelly as she had to return to the medical facility to correct problems with the splint.

She added a picture of her new cast and added, "1 night I had to go back because the first splint did not work right. What a way to end the year... #SoSexy."

Kelly did not give any further details about what caused her injury. Luckily fans were quick to send their well wishes to the lavender-haired beauty, with one fan posting: "I did the same thing to my right foot 9 weeks ago and still in a cast. Was told it takes longer to heal than if it would had a clean break. Ugh! So sorry you have to go through this. XOXO@kellyosbourne"

Another commented: "Sorry your (sic) in a cast honey, but just relax and make the most of some down time and have a great Christmas with your friends and family. Happy Christmas Kelly"

Despite the injury Kelly is bound to have a fun festive period with her family, including rocker dad Ozzy and TV personality mother Sharon. Sharon recently admitted her husband is really hard to buy for at Christmas, but did reveal to TMZ that she's planning on getting him a cat that looks like a tiger.
