Kendrick Lamar has seemingly confirmed the release of a new single, revealing the artwork through Twitter.
Speculation about the track has been rife over the last few days, with many reporting it would be premièring on Tuesday (23 September), a point which looks more likely now the single has been confirmed by Lamar himself.
It was originally rumoured the track would be called '(i) (love myself)', but instead it would seem Lamar has opted for the more simplistic 'i', which has reportedly been produced by LA artist Rahki.
The artwork itself seems to stay true to Kendrick's Compton roots, offering a more postive portrayal of the infamous rivalry between Crips and Bloods.

Anticipation for Kendrick's third album has been hotting up in recent months, especially in the wake of his recent collaboration with Flying Lotus, and reports that the rapper is once again working with Dr Dre.
If this single news is anything to go by, the long awaited follow up to Good Kid, M.A.A.D City will no doubt be announced in the near future.
