Keri Hilson believes all people can relate to her 'oestrogen-heavy' music.
The 28-year-old songstress released her No Boys Allowed album in December of last year. With singles like Pretty Girl Rock, some are inclined to believe that Keri may be excluding male fans from enjoying her music.
Keri admits that her music is womanly, but she contends that her songs are all inclusive when it comes to gender.
''m starting to believe I'm going to have to be the aggressor,' Keri explained to British newspaper The Mirror.
' don't know if it's intimidation because of my image, but my music is very oestrogen-heavy. I don't try to bash men, it's more to teach them.'
Keri is currently single. No Boys Allowed is not a mantra for her personal life, but Keri does need to date a specific type of man.
'The right person [for me] will understand the level of sacrifice it takes to do what I need to do,' Keri explained.
''m concentrating on my career but I'm still out there. I'm young, eager, fresh, hungry... and in good health.'
With upcoming shows across the UK this month, Keri invites both boys and girls to come out and enjoy her performance.
'Boys are allowed,' Keri giggled.
'They can come and find out how we really think and feel.'
