Ke$ha is teaming with MTV to give fans a look inside her fabulous, freaky — and frequently furry — world with a brand-new documentary series, called (rather appropriately) "Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life."
The new series is set to premiere on MTV this April, and follows Ke$ha as she navigates the drama and madness of both her personal and professional live, traveling the globe and recording her Warrior album. Shot over the course of two years, and directed by Ke$ha's brother, Lagan Sebert and family friend Steven Greenstreet, the show promises to give fans an intimate, no-limits look at her rise to superstardom ... and her attempts to follow-up that success with her sophomore album. And in doing so, it also explores family bonds, love, friendship and the passion Ke$ha pours into her music.
"You might have heard my voice on the radio, seen me onstage or in a music video, but that's only a part of the story," Ke$ha told. "With this documentary series I'm revealing a more complete picture of what my life is really like. It's not all glamorous but it's all real."
And since we know you can't wait until April to get a glimpse of that reality, we've got an exclusive sneak peek at "My Crazy Beautiful Life" right now: a down-and-dirty backstage pass where Ke$ha, clearly spent from her time on stage, guzzles water and proudly proclaims to "party for a living."
And that's just part of the story. It's her life, on her terms. So make sure to tune in to "Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life," premiering this April on MTV!
