Ke$ha debunks claims that she sent Lady Gaga a nasty memo about wearing dead animals.
Gaga has recently lambasted by PETA campaigners, critics and activists for wearing fur. The superstar then issued a statement on her website to these naysayers asking them to "respect her views".
A vitriolic note signed by Ke$ha was sent to Gaga regarding the controversy.
Ke$ha stated that whoever sent the letter is an imposter.
"Animals+ @ladygaga - jus woke up in Japan +heard that there's a letter from 'me' floating around. well it's a fake. not from me. love u all xx (sic)," she wrote on Twitter.
Lady Gaga appreciates that her pop peer provided some clarity on the event.
"@keshasuxx thanks for clearing up that the letter was fake. U are brave+know the meaning of acceptance. Box of animal crackers coming ur way (sic)," Gaga tweeted.
Lady Gaga was appalled by the brash condemnation she was receiving for her wardrobe choices.
"I respect your views, please respect mine," the star wrote on her website this week.
"You see a carcass, I see a museum pièce de résistance."
