Kesha enjoys voting on Rising Star because it reminds her of Tinder.
The singer sits on the panel of experts alongside Ludacris, Brad Paisley and Josh Groban on the talent show, which invites viewers to vote live for contestants via an app.
The first episode aired in the US last night, with Kesha offering a Twitter commentary. She joked that the format reminded her of the dating site, where users swipe right if they like someone and left if they're not interested.
"I'm enjoying swiping... Prob because I really love tinder. #risingstar (sic)," she tweeted about using the Rising Star app.
Kesha seems to be getting along well with her fellow musicians and posted a picture of herself with Brad and Ludacris before the show last night.
"preshow huddle with my #risingstar family @BradPaisley n @Ludacris watch now! (sic)," she captioned the shot.
The 27-year-old looked amazing in an embellished white dress for the occasion. She was joined by her mom, who almost outshone her.
"My mom looks really beautiful tonight. I'm almost jealous. #risingstar (sic)," she quipped.
Kesha and the other mentors vote in the same way as viewers and then help coach all the lucky hopefuls who make it through. She recently opened up to Ryan Seacrest about how exciting this new concept is.
"It is kind of amazing and genius and revolutionary," she told the TV star during On Air with Ryan Seacrest. "[The voters] use apps. You just download an app, it's free, and then America gets to vote and it's instantly gratifying. There's no waiting for the results. You know in two minutes and thirty seconds if a contestant makes it or breaks it. And everybody at home can press yes or no. It's so easy and so simple, and yet so genius using technology to the fullest."
