Ke$ha Promises Positivity, Partying This Summer With Pitbull

By now, you are probably aware that Ke$ha and Pitbull are hitting the road together this summer, on a double-bill that promises plenty of pop hits. But you probably have no idea how the two managed to team up ... and, as it turns out, they're not really sure either.

But, as is often the case with all things Ke$ha, there was definitely booze involved.

"One day, [Pitbull and I] were backstage, drinking tequila, kind of f---ing around, and we're talking hypotheticals 'We should go on tour together; I'll sing a song in Spanish, how about that?' And he said 'Okay,'" Ke$h told. "And then, like a month later, it happened in real life ... so, how's it going to work? I have no f---ing idea! But is it going to be fun? Yeah. F--- yeah."

And truth be told, the paring isn't as strange as you might think; after all, Ke$ha guested on Pitbull's song "Girls" way back in 2009, and he's just remixed her current single "Crazy Kids." But what the two truly bonded over was positivity ... and a love of partying, both of which Ke$h said will be on display this summer.

"I think that the reason I decided to tour with Pitbull is because we've worked together, and the first time we met, we had a very cool thing happening, but I was like 'Aw, I'll never see him again.' And then I kept on seeing him!" she said. "And the more we saw each other, the more we got along, and I realized that actually, we're incredibly similar; he just likes to have a good time and he's a super positive person, and I'm a really positive person who likes to get weird and wild."
