If you didn't get enough the first time, Ke$ha is delivering more "Take It Off" with an alternate music video, which the singer premiered today.
Video: Ke$ha's "Take It Off," Ke$ha and Friends Version
Ke$ha posted the second video, titled the "Ke$ha and Friends" version, for her latest single today (Oct. 7) on her official YouTube channel. She included the following message in the video's caption: "Heyy to all my fans! sooooo....me n my friends were bored and we were really channeling some 80s hard (tron, david bowie in labrynth, revenge of the nerds) and we made this new video for take it off. it was really fun to make. i hope you guys like it!!!!!"
The video is complete with all the obligatory elements: glow in the dark paint, scantily dressed dancers and a slight element of weird. Ke$ha and friends invade a hole-in-the-wall dance party, grinding on each other and shape-shifting their faces to look like cats.
Ke$ha herself is the queen of the freaks, singing from her throne until she's challenged to a dance duel by the androgynous self-proclaimed "Queen of the Internet" Jeffree Star. Star tries to pull a fast one by shooting a chainsaw laser at the poptart, but Ke$ha is able to deflect just in time. Star and his posse are eliminated when Ke$ha shoots her own mystical laser beams from her hands.
When she finally gets tires of all those 1980s vibes and the neon paint fumes get a little too much, Ke$ha leaves her dirty free-for-all and magically transforms back into the jungle cat that started the video.
Now that's how you end a party.
