Ke$ha is keeping the party going on the next track off her December album release, Warrior. On "C'Mon," K's flirty antics are as seductive as the sparkling synths and the production is as shimmering as her eye makeup.
The Dr. Luke-produced track opens with male voices harmonizing before the crunchy beat booms in as K rap/sings lines like, "Saw you leaning against that old record machine/ Saw the name of your band written on the marquee/ It's a full moon tonight so we gettin' rowdy/ Yeah, we gettin' rowdy, get-get-gettin' rowdy."
The real magic of the track begins at the chorus. With its swirling, gets-stuck-in-your-head melody, the singer makes her case for a sassy one-night stand. "C'mon 'cause I know what I like/ And you're looking just like my type/ Let's go for it just for tonight/ C'mon, c'mon, c'mon/ Now don't even try to deny/ We're both going home satisfied/ Let's go for it just for tonight/ C'mon, c'mon, c'mon," she sings.
In addition to giving fans the track, she also gifted fans with the artwork for the single. It features Ke$ha with her head held back, the backdrop a mess of neon tie-dye. Offering up some insider knowledge about the cover, she added, "the cover of 'c'mon' I'm covered in liquid gold btw."
Ke$ha and Luke teamed up on several Warrior tracks, including the lead single "Die Young." When MTV News spoke to the famed pop producer about it, he explained that they wanted to shake up her sound a bit.
"There's a lot of up-tempo music there, but there are definitely some very raw songs in there with not a whole lot of production," he explained. "She's singing songs with no doubles on it from the beginning to the end of the song, which you never hear in music anymore. She has a stellar voice, and it's funny that a lot of people haven't realized that, but they will now, for sure."
"I can't wait for people to hear the whole Ke$ha record. I feel like it has legs," he later added. "I'm finishing songs right now."
