Ke$ha has brought the six week chart dominance of Susan Boyle to an end in the USA.
'Animals', the debut album from Ke$ha, sold 151,942 units in America last week setting a record for the best ever digital album sales for a new artist and the third biggest first week digital album sales for a female behind Taylor Swift and Britney Spears.
'Animal' also debuted at number one in Canada.
The single 'Tik Tok' has been number one in Australia for 8 weeks and in New Zealand for the past 5.
Her TV performances of the song so far include The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
