Pop star Ke$ha has added her name to the list of artists speaking out about the American First Amendment and educate people about their freedoms.
The First Amendment states that, 'Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
According to Ke$ha, "Freedom of speech is the only reason I have a career in music. I exercise that right every day, at every show and in every song. It is an invaluable right I feel every human is worthy of."
Ke$ha is voicing her concerns via the '1 for All` campaign along with Ellen DeGeneres, John Mellencamp and David Gregory.
The organization behind the campaign found that only 1 in 20 Americans understand the First Amendment.
A series of online advertisements is promoting the cause.
