Kesha thinks mullet hairdos are attractive

The 24-year-old 'U R What U R' singer told the Sydney Daily Telegraph newspaper, 'The mullet is the new beard for me. I have a special place in my heart for the mullet.'

She also told how being on tour with her 'crazy' mum, Pebe, and younger brother, Louis, is helping to keep her grounded.

'It cuts all the bullshit when you have family around and my mum is just as crazy if not crazier than me.

'Shes very entertaining - that seems to be the dominant gene in our family,' she said.

She refused to talk about Calvin, but discussing Australia, where she is on tour, she added, 'I would love to never leave here. And I have to vet the husband candidates.'

Kesha and Calvin were reportedly spotted making out at Rihanna's gig in Melbourne on Tuesday. (March 8)

Calvin is Rihanna's support act as she takes her Last Girl On Earth tour around Australia.

Kesha and Calvin will meet up again as they perform at the Future Music Festivals in Sydney and Perth this weekend. (March 12 and 13)
