As 2012 gets properly under way, King Creosote & Jon Hopkins are all set to tour Diamond Mine as a complete work one last time.
Released last March to outstanding reviews, Diamond Mine was an album that grew in people's hearts and minds, earned itself a Mercury Music Prize nomination and found itself included in many magazines' end of year polls.
Their farewell single John Taylor's Month Away is joined by a brand new arrangement of the KC classic Missionary, and whilst it's tempting to wax lyrical about a leave of absence in order to discover uncharted territories, it is more likely that KC and JH will return to more familiar shores and settle back into their comfortable solo oilskins.
John Taylor's Month Away b/w Missionary will be available on 7" (DS058) and via digital download (DS058D) from 4th February 2012. Click HERE to pre-order.
