The actress plays Bella Swan in the series of vampire films, which also star Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson. Kristen will soon start shooting the final instalments of the franchise, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Parts 1 and 2, and has been blown away by the script.
“To be honest, [the script is] never very striking, only because I know it,” she said. “You read it until you get to the last page just hoping that it doesn't let you down, going, 'OK yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what I got too, mm hmm, that's what I got.' It's really good. It's like, I don't know, it's very solid.
“It's odd because [going back to set] feels the same, yet it's different because we all know that it is over. It's so not over yet, either. We have the hugest job that we've had almost like all along.”
The 20-year-old explained she only starts relaxing into the part once she’s seen the script as it’s only then that she knows what is expected of her. The films are based on the series of novels by Stephenie Meyer, and Kristen also looks forward to seeing which parts have made the leap from the novels to the big screen.
“Basically we know exactly how the book is going to find itself now. We know all the lines, we know every scene that's been pulled,” she told MTV. “It's always scary when you don't know what parts they're going to think are important, because sometimes you have a different idea.”
The first of the movies is due out next year, with the next instalment expected in 2012.
