Overview
A new documentary about the late Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain is set to be premiered at this year's Toronto Film festival.
‘About A Son' is said to collate content taken from up to 25 hours worth of previously unheard interviews with Cobain carried out by Michael Azerrad.
The film, directed by AJ Schnack, is described as a “dream-like account of Cobain's own successes and failures, thoughts and experiences, allowing the audience unprecedented intimacy with a legendary figure in popular culture.â€
The Azzerad interviews are spliced between footage of the three cities which Cobain spent most of his formative years in â€" Aberdeen, Olympia and Seattle.
The Toronto Film Festival takes place between September 7-16, there is no news yet of a general release date for the film.document.write(unescape("
