Nirvana fans in Seattle held a vigil in memory of Kurt Cobain yesterday.
Many fans are marking April 5 as the ten-year anniversary of the suicide of Cobain, who died of a gunshot wound to the head in 1994.
Yesterday, fans gathered at the city's Viretta Park, near Kurt and Courtney Love's home, and where the star died, to pay their respects.
Most of the fans brought flowers or lit candles to mark the day.
One fan told the local Seattle Times newspaper: "I kind of feel like I have to be here today. Kurt's given me so much. I've learned so much about myself and about the world. He's given me so much that I feel the least I can do is come here and celebrate somehow."
