'KV Crimes' is the new video from Kurt Vile's latest album Wakin On A Pretty Daze, which sees Kurt paraded around his Philadelphia hometown as King for the day, and in an amazing twist, the Mayor of Philadelphia has officially named August 28th 'Kurt Vile Day'.
The highest honour possible to bestow upon a citizen, the Liberty Bell Award, is being awarded to Kurt in recognition for "outstanding professional achievements and civic generosity" and is only available to native Philadelphians.
The ceremony takes place on August 28th, with Kurt Vile playing a free solo performance as a finale to the 'City Hall Presents' series, followed by the formal award presentation.
Later this year Kurt Vile returns to for a headline UK tour in December, playing the following dates:
