Kylie Minogue, Lulu and Deacon Blue will play the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games this Sunday (3 August).
Broadcast live at 9pm from the 40,000 capacity Hampden Stadium in Glasgow, Minogue's performance is said to represent the transfer of the games to Australia who will host the 2018 games, whilst the rest of the lineup is indicative of Scotland's musical heritage.
Deacon Blue who will be playing to their biggest ever global audience, with Lulu and singer/songwriter Dougie Maclean also announced to appear, as well as up and coming Glasgow band Prides.
The opening ceremony of the games saw performances from Rod Stewart, Susan Boyle and John Barrowman.
Glasgow 2014 chief executive David Grevemberg has expressed his excitement about the event: "We are delighted to reveal the glittering line-up of Scottish and international talent joining us in Hampden Park for the closing ceremony."
"There is so much for so many people to celebrate. Our Commonwealth athletes have been inspirational and the people of Glasgow and Scotland will give them and all our visitors a great send-off."
The closing ceremony will be broadcast in 71 Commonwealth nations and territories from 9pm GMT on Sunday 3 August.
