The trial Conrad Murray will begin on September 8th. He is accused of allegedly administering lethal doses of the heavy sedative Propofol to the troubled pop star. His charge is Involuntary Manslaughter, which could see him put away for up to 15 years under US law.
Speaking on US Talk show The View, La Toya claimed the defence’s argument that Michael administered the drug himself was “not true”.
She said, “I have spoken to several different doctors, you cannot inject yourself with Propofol like that. The minute you put it in, it goes into your system, you fall asleep immediately,” she said.
“The coroner told me that whoever did this did it intentionally,” she said.
“He told me that Michael had enough Propofol in him to kill an elephant.
“My firm belief is that Conrad Murray was just the fall guy because he knew what was going on but I don’t know to what extent and I can’t say. I wasn’t there when Michael was murdered.”
When asked why she thought there were more people involved than just Murray she said, “Somebody was in Michael’s house, outside that doctor, during that time and I do know who that person was. Whether that person did that or not I don’t know.”
La Toya declined to say who the mystery person was for legal reasons.
