La Toya Jackson: `People think I`m crazy`

The 55-year-old little sister of Michael Jackson has released a tell-all book about her life and her abusive marriage, titled Starting Over, and hopes it will give readers a chance to see the real her.

“People think I am crazy. I tell myself, ‘I know who I am and as long as God knows who I am, that is all that matters’. God knows that I am a good person,” she told Us Magazine.

“I don't care what other people think. That is what kept me sane because if I thought about what others think about me, I would crush, cry, and die.

And she insisted that she is not jealous of the success that Michael or her sister Janet have achieved.

“I am proud of my siblings for making a tremendous mark in history and weaving their way to the top. I never wanted a musical career. It was my father who said, 'No you are going to do this'.

“I studied business law in school and he kicked me out and said, 'No you are going to be like everybody else’.”
