Lady Gaga debuts new song at Elton John Ball

Lady Gaga has unveiled a new rock song at a performance at Elton John's White Tie and Tiara ball.

The song is called 'You And I', which Gaga told the crowd "This is a brand new record that nobody has ever heard before ever. I've never ever played it live ever. And the band has never played it live ever ever. But I was polite enough to whisper the key to them before I came on stage. This song is called 'You And I' and it's a bit of a rock 'n' roll tune, which means it will most likely never get used as one of my singles, so I guess it's ok that I play it. This song is very dear to my heart and I just wrote it. It's called 'You And I'."

The song features Gaga on piano and is inspired by epic 70s classic rock monsters like Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bob Seger.

The scantily clad Gaga was playing what looks like a skeleton of a piano while her band follows along. The show sees the singer leap up onto the piano stool and belt out the song while somehow managing to keep her hair as immaculately styled as it was when she began.
