The UK's most in demand female MC, Lady Leshurr has just announced that she will be performing a headline show on 1st October at Camden Roundhouse Studio Theatre.
The intimate one-off live show will see Leshurr accompanied by her band, The Rasites, and will showcase exclusive new material alongside favourites from past mixtapes.
23-yeard old, Birmingham born and raised MC, singer and producer (aka Lady Leshurr), is the name on everyone's lips right now. With comparisons ranging from 'a female Busta Rhymes' through to 'the UK's answer to Nicki Minaj or Missy Elliot', Lady Leshurr is being talked about as the most exciting female rapper to emerge from the UK scene since Ms Dynamite's arrival in 2001.
To date Lady Leshurr has successfully garnered fans, both here and internationally, through a number of well received mixtapes, including the 2012 released '2000andL' and the 'LYeah!', and a string of YouTube clips full of dry Brummie wit and rap hit take-offs.
She has been enlisted to guest on the tracks of a number of UK heavyweights – from Wiley through to Tinie Tempah and Ms Dynamite. 2012 alone has seen Lady Leshurr feature on Orbital's 'Wonky', the official remix for Maxsta's 'I Wanna Rock', 'Boring Bitches' by ExR (aka Etta Bond and Raf Riley), and the R1 Zane Lowe Hype track, Vince Kidd's 'Sick Love'. Leshurr has also been confirmed to feature on Labrinth's forthcoming mixtape.
This year has also seen Lady Leshurr bag an Official Mixtape Award (Best Female Artist) and be shortlisted for a Casio/G Shock award for new music talent of the year, alongside delivering show-stopping performances at SXSW and Wireless Festival and on the MOBO and Bigga Fish tours.
