Leona Lewis can't wait to spend "quality time" with loved ones this Christmas.
The British singer – who has been romantically linked to One Direction hunk Liam Payne - has had a hectic 2012 following the release of her latest album Glassheart. Leona has been travelling all over the world and is looking forward to seeing the most important people in her life over the festive period next month.
"It is really about getting a balance between maintaining relationships with everyone - your boyfriend, or your mum, your dad, your friends, or whoever it is," she told UK TV show Lorraine when asked how she juggles her career and private life. "You really have to try hard to make sure you are communicating, always seeing each other, spending time, quality time together. With Christmas it's always a great time because you get proper time together."
When quizzed about her rumoured romance with newly single Liam, Leona smiled coyly and replied, "We are just friends."
The singer is renowned for keeping quiet about her love life. She was then pushed on her bond with Liam, with it being suggested they have become close because they both shot to fame by appearing on UK talent show The X Factor. "Exactly," Leona agreed.
Although the 27-year-old singer didn't attempt to hide her excitement about Christmas being just around the corner, she was reluctant to share her plans.
Leona remained rather mysterious when asked where she will be celebrating the holiday in December.
"I might be in Wales, but I haven't decided yet," she explained.
